Demonstrations highlight how service providers and content owners can address key trends shaping the future of pay-TV in the Asia-Pacific region and include OTT, Android TV, direct-to-TV solutions and anti-piracy services.

Cheseaux, Switzerland – June 14, 2018 – NAGRA, a Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.S) company and the world's leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions, will showcase smart solutions for the OTT era on Booth 1J2-01 at CommunicAsia 2018, taking place June 26-28, at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. According to the Pay-TV Innovation Forum, catering to OTT and mobile-first users, adopting new business modes and combatting streaming piracy are among the top five trends shaping the next generation of video offerings across the region.

“The pay-TV industry is growing more competitive and diverse than ever before, and the lines between traditional pay-TV and OTT are increasingly blurred,” said Stéphane Le Dréau, Senior Vice President Sales & Services APAC at NAGRA. “It has never been more critical for pay-TV providers and content owners to understand how they can leverage this new market environment to their benefit. Our showcase at CommunicAsia will highlight the smart solutions that can help them deliver the services and solutions that are critical to enabling the next generation of pay-TV and OTT services and the next phase of growth in the region.”
