NAGRA premieres intuiTV, a new way of enjoying TV, at the 2016 APOS show

Cheseaux, Switzerland – April 19, 2016 – NAGRA, a Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.S) company and the world's leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions, will showcase its latest innovations designed to deliver a Secure, Engaging and Everywhere experience for pay-TV operators at the 2016 Asia-Pacific Operator Summit (APOS), taking place at the Ayana Resort and Spa in Bali, Indonesia, from April 26-28, 2016. NAGRA will be located in suite 1351 & 1353.

The event will mark the debut of NAGRA’s brand-new, all-in-one TV experience, intuiTV, in the Asia-Pacific region and feature a comprehensive showcase of the company’s end-to-end solutions and latest customer deployments.

The intuiTV experience, recently awarded for making TV “more millennial friendly” instantly immerses consumers into the content they love via a unique swipe-to-tune user interface and a contextual programmable e-ink remote control. intuiTV is offered as a managed cloud-based platform and can be configured with a full line-up of premium content and advanced TV services featuring live TV, VOD, SVOD services (like Netflix and YouTube), PVR/nPVR, and social TV, all with advanced search and recommendation (including voice).

Visitors will also learn about NAGRA’s growing footprint in the Asia-Pacific region and see latest deployments of theMediaLive multiscreen solution and OpenTV 5 HTML5 connectware that have enabled operators such as VTVCab and Taiwan Broadband Communications to deploy advanced platforms and next generation services while ensuring robust content protection on any device.

Direct-to-TV Security will complement the security showcase showing how operators can enable pay-TV services directly on 4K Ultra HD connected TVs without any additional hardware, thanks to Hollywood-approved security that exceeds studio requirements for 4K Ultra HD and other forms of enhanced content.

As a featured presentation of the APOS conference, André Kudelski, Chairman and CEO of the Kudelski Group, along with Thomas Ee, CEO, Taiwan Broadband Communications and Ferdinand Kayser, Chief Commercial Officer, SES, will present the session titled “Gateways to the Digital Kingdom” on Wednesday, April 27 at 4 p.m.
