NAGRA premieres intuiTV, a new way of enjoying TV, in Brazil at the 2016 ABTA show

São Paulo, Brazil – June 28, 2016 – NAGRA, a Kudelski Group (SIX:KUD.S) company, the world's leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions, will showcase its latest innovations designed to deliver a Secure, Engaging and Everywhere experience for pay-TV operators at the 2016 ABTA Show taking place in São Paulo, Brazil, from June 29-July 1, 2016. NAGRA will be located on booth 58.

The event will mark the Brazilian debut of NAGRA’s brand-new, all-in-one TV experience, intuiTV, and feature a comprehensive showcase of the company’s latest customer deployments, including NET and Unotel.

The intuiTV experience, recently awarded for making TV “more millennial friendly” instantly immerses consumers into the content they love via a unique swipe-to-tune user interface and a contextual programmable e-ink remote control. intuiTV is offered as a managed cloud-based platform and can be configured with a full line-up of premium content and advanced TV services featuring live TV, VOD, SVOD services (like Netflix and YouTube), PVR/nPVR, and social TV, all with advanced search and recommendation (including voice).

Visitors will also learn about NAGRA’s latest deployments of the MediaLive Suite, including OpenTV 5 connectware that have enabled operators such as NET and Unotel to deploy advanced platforms and next generation services while ensuring robust content protection on any device.

On Thursday, June 30 at 5 p.m., Martin will present the session titled “How are pay-TV operators set to evolve over the next five years?” exploring how multiscreen viewing, OTT delivery, and big data offer exciting opportunities for innovation and growth.
