Warsaw (Poland), Cheseaux (Switzerland), December 15, 2004 - Nagravision, the world's leading independent provider of open conditional access systems and value-added solutions for digital TV, today announced an agreement with Cyfrowy Polsat which includes the migration of the Polish satellite operator's network to Nagravision's new generation conditional access system.

The agreement opens a new chapter in the long-standing partnership that Nagravision has developed over the past five years with Cyfrowy Polsat.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nagravision has supplied its newest Conditional Access system, which has already been successfully deployed by Pay TV market leaders EchoStar in the USA, Premiere in Germany, Digital+ in Spain and soon Italy's Mediaset. In Poland, Nagravision has integrated its conditional access system with a digital head-end from Harmonic.

Through this agreement, Nagravision underlines its long-term commitment to Cyfrowy Polsat and its confidence in the continuing growth of digital Pay TV in Poland.

"When choosing Nagravision, we based our choice on our most important criteria: the highest security level of the system, the possibilities it offered for further development and the widest range of support from our partner," said Dominik Libicki, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cyfrowy Polsat.

"We are delighted to sign this agreement, which is built on the mutual trust established over the years," said Nagravision Chief Operating Officer Pierre Roy. "We very much look forward to supporting Cyfrowy Polsat in growing their subscriber base and increasing their revenues in the future."
